Colin’s Bear Animation

This post is for James, who is studying hard to be able to do something like this himself (someday!).

Watch it with sound on. Read the credits screen at the end.

Some of the details on it (see the page on YouTube for the rest).

So this video was created by a third year Game Development student at UOIT. This is the final animation for an Animation Arts class [one class, for one semester]. My friend Colin used all the techniques that were taught by this professor. And as you can see, he made the best animation with what was taught. Seriously, it’s genius.

Good luck, James!

Oh, and for everyone that has already seen it, here’s something different.

So you won’t be stuck with watching that video again, here’s a video of someone watching that video:

Truly, right alongside metal, buses, and the Acropolis of Athens, the internet is a modern marvel.

All I’m wondering about is what sort of impact this may have on the cognitive, pyscho-sexual, and sociological development of the human race

And the potential legal and regulatory pitfalls of adding some sort of microtransactional layer to this awesome new technology heh.

I’m assuming that this sudden rash of topic necromancy is in some way related to the reappearance of everyone’s favourite pretend games dev? He popped up on my blog yesterday to complain that people on the internet had been mean to him. I followed the link he came from which was your original post, where as if by magic, some anonymous seeker of truth has popped up to declare that it was all just an elaborate parody. Well don’t I feel silly!

On an entirely different topic, your blog is hella slow to load these days. Dunno if you are aware or if it’s just me.
